Question: Why did you become interested in politics

commented on 1 Oct 2010: I became interested in politics when I joined the Edinburgh students nationalist club when I was at university. Over the years I became convinced that Scotland wasn’t getting a fair deal from being part of the UK and I still believe that. That’s why I’m a Scottish nationalist and a member of the SNP.

In 1964 – yes I know that probably sounds like back in the dark ages. It was a combination of a change in government and my grandparents coming to stay with us.
