Tiffany, I take it you mean the school bus to Kirkcudbright. I think the normal service buses will continue, though I think you would have to change at Gatehouse. They are looking at all the school bus runs which take people to schools outside their catchment area, because we are now so short of cash. The school run to Kirkcudbright was a ‘freebie’ which we could afford when times were good, and now they’re not…. But I hope pupils already at Kirkcudbright will be allowed to continue until they’re finsihed at school, but I’d have to check with councillors at Stranraer. I don’t know all the info as I’m a Dumfries councillor.
