The new Curriculum for Excellence should make learning more interesting and fun for students. It has already been a great success in primary schools. I suspect that some secondary teachers are a bit more hesitant than their primary colleagues to change their methods, which basically is what the curriculum for excellence is asking them to do. But when they see that the pupils themselves appreciate that Curriculum for Excellence is more suited to their’ future needs- preparing them for the future- you will see lessons becoming more ‘fun’. After all, most teachers want to do the best for their pupils!

The new Curriculum for Excellence which the Scottish Government is introducing is intended to make learning more “fun” by making subjects seem more relevant for example using topics which puils are interested in to teach subjects like science or languages or art, especially in the younger classes in secondary school
