The committee called SWESTRANS, which has councillors on it and which talks to the bus companies about routes, prices, etc, is trying to get better deals for passengers and what you say seems a good idea. I can see that a late night ring and ride bus would appeal to young people wanting to go into town for a night out.
there are two ring n ride pilots at the moment – one in the Dumfries are and one in the Csatle Douglas area. Hopefully if these are successful the Regional Transport Partnership SWESTRANS will consider putting the on in other areas
