Question: Are the Lib Dems going to survive the coalition? Will their support collapse; I personally think that Clegg has killed them.

Billy, I’m an SNP councillor, so I’m not sure if people who normally vote Lib Dem feel betrayed by Clegg taking his party into the coalition with the Tories. I suspect a lot depends on whether Clegg lets Cameron do things that the Lib Dems are dead set against, like building a new generation of nuclear weapons. If a lot of that happens, it could make a lot of Lib Dem supporters change their support. And to what other party is the question. Probably Labour could benefit, and also the SNP in Scotland. I’d be happy about that!

I suspect that the LibDems will do badly here in Scotland as most Lib Dem voters here are left of centre. I’m not so sure about the South of England.

I rather think that the Lib Dems will be wiped of the board, here, In England they might hold onto their support, though.
