It’s not something which government can directly control, but I would like to see fruit and vegetable prices reduced. Huge amounts of perfectly good fruit and vegetables are wasted because they don’t conform to the standards required by the supermarkets. These should be being sold more cheaply rather than being thrown away. Also, people should get more opportunity to grow their own fruit and veg in allotments and community gardens.
