Question: Could you think about making the empty building near morrisons into a facilitie for the cummunity and divide it into seperate bits like a bit for adults, kids, teenagers and the elderly

    It’s possible – there are community groups in Moffat looking into whether the old Moffat Academy building could be put to use as a community and business centre. It would depend on who the building belongs to, whaT the owner intends to do with it, whether there are community groups who would like to take it on and whether they could put together a credible business plan to get support and funding

    Hello, scarlet16. I don’t know who owns the building or if a facility such as you suggest is needed or would be sustainable. I will ask, though, and get back to you.

    Scarlet16, that’s a good idea. I’ve already said something like this in answer to another question. It’s owned I believe by Morrisons.
